Description
Clocher
A French Church bell that will sound 1, or the number of the hour, bell tolls on the hour.
This was originally a Palm OS Application written by Pierre Raufast ( [link] ), and as I no longer use a Palm device, this widget will was written to replace it. Pierre has ported his version to iOS and is available on iTunes.
When it is launched, the gold bell will appear on your desktop, when you mouse over the bell, the configuration panel will slide out from under the bell where you can set up in which hours of the day the bell will toll, with a green "tick", and whether the bell will strike once or the hour's number.
Enjoy! ( bong! )
22/08/2012 : Specify your own bell sound.
At the bottom of the configuration screen, a path box is displayed which defaults to "French_Clocher.wav" specifies with sound will play when required.
To change, click on the path and a path selection dialogue will appear to allow you to navigate to a new sound.
XWidget appears only to support .wav files at this stage, so if you select an unsupported file, you will just get the system error beep.
